Would you like to help us build the Nordic champion of corporate learning platforms?
Collegial is a Stockholm-based EdTech company with partners, learners and employees across the globe. Being in the EdTech industry, we strive to walk the talk – to develop ourselves and those around us, building an inclusive culture of continuous learning.
We founded Collegial with the philosophy that sharing knowledge across companies and industries will help all involved move faster together. We are developing a Corporate Learning Platform that enables companies and public sector organizations to accelerate continuous professional development in the workplace and in society-at-large.
To reimagine the way we learn in the workplace we have gathered a team of creative developers and learning designers alongside senior leaders from industry, public sector and academia. Together we work to create great learning experiences for our community of learners and constantly strive to develop ourselves and those around us - building an inclusive culture of continuous learning.
Our vision is to offer the most engaging and impactful corporate learning experience in the world. We are in an exciting scale-up phase with launching new customers and constantly developing our platform and that is where we need your help.
What you will do:
With over 15 000 users worldwide, you will join our quest to create the most engaging and accessible corporate learning experience in the world. As a part of a tight knit development team you will work on our data platform, analysis algorithms and the visualizations that allow learning activities to be aggregated and tracked by individuals as well as administrators across platforms and organisations.
You will augment a small team that is focused on integrating progress (and other) data from all the different learning platforms we support, crunching and aggregating this data such that it can drive visualizations and metrics.
You will work in a cross-functional Agile team of skilled developers and together with your team develop the platform that supports companies and users in keeping up with the growing need of continuous learning.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role we see that you have an understanding of what it takes to build Software as a Service. You have a good grasp of the shifting technology landscape, what technologies and practices are gaining traction and how to future-proof the stack. You subscribe to the DevOps culture and an Agile way of working. In this role you get to be creative and it is essential that you enjoy solving tricky technical problems that require out-of-the-box thinking.
You have a broad software development experience perhaps with a special interest in cloud native development and the go programming language. You write beautiful, easy to follow and idiomatic code. Furthermore, you write unit tests for your own sake because it makes you feel good to know that you can refactor your code without fear of breaking it in unrelated ways.
It is important for you to work in a team that holds itself to a high standard of quality, embraces code reviews and keeps a green build and clean commit log. You feel comfortable with concurrency and delight in getting the most out of a multicore processor using goroutines, channels, mutex and wait groups.
You would like to work with some of these technologies:
- React / Typescript
- Keylock (might be replaced, but understanding SAML will help you)
What we offer:
We are an international and passionate team of tech and organizational learning enthusiasts, who work with modern software in cloud environments. We have a fun and driven atmosphere with short decision paths. At Collegial we believe that transparency, honesty and constructive communication are key to making great things happen.
