What will you do?

• Create and update features with a “you build it, you own it” attitude with responsibility across the entire backend

• Improve existing code and deploy changes in small batches with confidence

• Choose the right tools to get the job done effectively

• Collaborate with all product roles, including other engineers, product managers, designers, analytics, and business to provide the best experience for our customers

• Work with large data sets to create visualizations and reports that identify learning trends and insights

• Learn, share and grow!

Who are you?

To succeed in this role

• You have 3+ years of commercial experience as a Software Developer

• Your coding proficiency is in one or more of the following languages with the ability to quickly learn new languages: TypeScript, Golang

• Experience working with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis),

• You have solid understanding of the patterns and principles behind excellent software design

• You feel comfortable when you know your unit and integration tests cover the key functionality in what you have developed

• You understand continuous deployment and its importance in software development

• You want to experiment with, learn and apply new technologies quickly

• You have experience designing and building applications using serverless architecture, such as AWS Lambda

• You're not afraid to improve the existing and add what you feel is missing

• You speak at least B2 level of English (preferable C1 or C2)

It would be nice if:

• You worked with GraphQL

• You have some experience with IaC (e.g. Terraform)

• You know Docker
